Where the platform provides a submission confirmation or ObjectNow reference, keep this information for your records.

You may also receive a copy or confirmation by email, depending on the submission method used for that particular campaign.

Remember that ObjectNow and the relevant planning authority or consenting body are separate organisations. Publication of a representation on an authority’s website may not happen immediately after it has been submitted.

Planning authorities and consenting bodies do not necessarily publish representations immediately after receiving them.

There may be a delay while representations are processed, checked or prepared for publication. Some authorities may also publish representations in batches or use different methods of presenting them online.

The absence of a representation from a public portal immediately after submission does not, by itself, establish that it has not been received.

If ObjectNow provided you with confirmation of your submission, retain this for your records.

You should not repeatedly submit the same representation simply to increase the number of objections recorded.

If circumstances change, additional information becomes available, or a planning authority formally invites further representations, there may be legitimate reasons to make an additional submission.

Where a campaign relates to an additional consultation or new information submitted by the developer, follow the instructions provided for that particular campaign.
