Help with creating an ObjectNow objection platform for a planning or development application.
You can contact ObjectNow through the Support Centre and select Creating an Objection Platform.
We will ask for some basic information about the development, including its name, application reference, country and the relevant planning or consenting authority.
Please provide as much accurate information as possible. This allows the ObjectNow team to identify the application and assess what would be required before responding to your enquiry.
Submitting an enquiry does not automatically mean that ObjectNow can take on the campaign. Our ability to provide assistance depends on the application, timescales and available capacity.
Every campaign is different, so ObjectNow does not operate fixed packages. We provide a quotation based on the work actually required for your campaign.
As a guide, a typical ObjectNow campaign costs around £300. This can include the campaign website and technical setup, secure hosting, campaign branding, email systems, preparation of foundation objection material, operation of the objection platform and secure processing of submissions throughout the consultation period.
Your quotation will clearly set out the work included before anything begins. The amount quoted is the maximum you will pay. There are no hidden charges or unexpected increases, and we will not charge more than the agreed quotation without your prior approval. Where less work is ultimately required, the final amount may be lower.
There is no charge to individual members of the public for submitting an objection through an approved ObjectNow platform. Campaign costs are met by the campaign group or, where ObjectNow provides pro bono support, by ObjectNow itself.
If funding is limited, please still contact us. We will discuss what your campaign needs and whether there are practical ways of working within the funding available.
When opening a Creating an Objection Platform ticket, you will be asked to provide:
You can use the ticket message to provide additional background, important consultation dates and anything else you believe ObjectNow should know.
Providing accurate application details helps us identify the correct development and consider your request more efficiently.
Yes. We recognise that community campaigns do not always have access to sufficient funding, and we do not want cost alone to prevent a community from asking for our help.
ObjectNow currently supports one in four campaigns on a pro bono basis. Where a campaign is accepted for pro bono support, ObjectNow covers the cost rather than charging the campaign group.
Pro bono support is subject to our available capacity and is considered on a campaign-by-campaign basis. Where full pro bono support is not available, we may also be able to provide reduced-cost support or adjust the scope of work to help accommodate a campaign’s available budget.
If your group has limited or no available funding, please tell us when you open your Creating an Objection Platform support ticket. Funding difficulties should not prevent you from approaching ObjectNow to discuss what assistance may be possible.
