ObjectNow Objection Tool
This demonstration campaign relates to the fictional Zacbury Wind Farm Park and has been created to show how an objection campaign appears and functions within the ObjectNow platform. The development and locations described are not real and are used only to illustrate a realistic planning scenario.
The campaign showcases the new ObjectNow Version 5.0 release. It is cleaner, fresher and quicker to navigate, making the process of submitting an objection simpler and more accessible for everyone.
This example demonstrates how objections are clearly structured, how policy context and local impacts are presented together, and how complex issues can be explained in an understandable way. This template is now used by default for all objection campaigns going forward.

1. You acknowledge that ObjectNow operates as a facilitative civic participation platform designed to assist users in preparing and submitting planning and consultation representations. ObjectNow does not provide legal advice, planning consultancy, or professional representation.
2. Where objection content is generated, suggested, restructured, or assembled using automated systems or AI-assisted tools, you remain solely responsible for reviewing, approving, and accepting the final content prior to submission. Any amendments, additions, or personal comments added by you are made entirely at your own discretion and responsibility.
3. You understand that your submission may be transmitted to planning authorities, government bodies, reporters, consultation portals, or other relevant decision-making authorities associated with the campaign. Once submitted, your representation falls under the control and publication policies of the receiving authority.
4. Planning authorities and public bodies may publish representations, including names, addresses, and submitted content, on publicly accessible websites or planning portals. ObjectNow may request redaction of personal information where appropriate, however publication decisions remain entirely under the control of the receiving authority.
5. Where petition functionality is used, you acknowledge that petition support may accompany or support wider campaign representations but may not itself constitute a formal statutory objection unless separately submitted through the relevant statutory process.
6. ObjectNow processes personal data only insofar as necessary to operate the platform, generate submissions, maintain security and audit records, prevent abuse, and facilitate campaign functionality, in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
