ObjectNow was created in early 2024 after its approach proved effective during the Hands Off Our Hills campaign opposing the Blair Hill and Glenvernoch Wind Farm proposals near Newton Stewart in Dumfries and Galloway.
That experience showed how much stronger public engagement becomes when communities are given clear, practical tools to take part in complex planning decisions.
We are the first AI community focused platform developed specifically to support planning objections. Volunteer led and independent, ObjectNow is designed to help people respond to large scale energy and infrastructure proposals that are often technical, time consuming, and difficult to challenge without support.
Our role is to simplify the process while ensuring objections remain accurate, responsible, and rooted in real local concerns.
ObjectNow is recognised as an accepted means of submitting formal objections to planning authorities, supported by independent acknowledgement.
This ensures submissions made through the platform are properly structured, formally recorded, and considered within the planning process.
