ObjectNow Objection Tool
Wind2 has now submitted a substantial amount of additional information in relation to the Lairdmannoch Energy Park application, comprising a further 116 documents. Due to this, we have set up a fresh objection platform to help people respond specifically to the new information that has been submitted.
Unfortunately, unlike our previous Lairdmannoch Objection Platform, changes to how the Energy Consents Unit (ECU) accepts representations mean that we can no longer submit your response on your behalf.
However, our platform will still help you generate your response and then guide you through the process of submitting it directly through the ECU website.
Please note: your previous objections are still valid, but we highly recommend that you submit an additional representation in response to these new documents.15 days left to object
Objections should be submitted by 7 September 2026. Submitting before the deadline ensures your objection is fully taken into account.
This form supports voice typing (speech‑to‑text). You can speak into any text box instead of typing, using the dictation built in to your device:
Tap the text box you want to fill in first, then start dictation. Please review what you have said before submitting.
Enter your details so your objection can be prepared correctly. Your email address must be verified before you continue.
We have sent a verification code to your email address. Enter the code below to continue.
Can't find the email? Please check your spam or junk folder. If it still hasn't arrived after a few minutes, use Resend Code below, or edit your email address above if it isn't correct.
Please read and accept the terms before continuing to the objection section selection.
The next sections will allow you to choose the topics and specific concerns that genuinely matter to you. Your objection will be assembled from the choices you make, rather than automatically including every available issue.
There are no right or wrong selections. If a topic or concern does not apply to you, simply leave it unticked and continue.
It is essential that you review and edit the completed letter before submitting it. The generated letter provides a structured foundation based on your selections, but your final representation should reflect your own views, concerns and reasons for objecting.
You will have the opportunity to edit the completed letter, add your own comments, remove anything that does not reflect your position, and include any personal or local concerns that are important to you.
Please take the time to personalise your letter before submitting it. This helps ensure that your final representation genuinely reflects what you want to say and why the proposal matters to you.
Tick as many as apply, then continue.
You have selected the planning topics that reflect your concerns. The next questions give you an opportunity to explain how the proposal affects you, your local area or the way you use the site. Answer only those that are relevant to your circumstances.
Explain in your own words why this matters to you personally.
Optional. Add anything further in your own words about how the proposal affects you, your home, your business, your community or the local environment.
Your objection will now be assembled from the planning topics and specific concerns you selected, together with any information you added in your own words. You will be able to review and edit it before submission.
Your objection is laid out below in the same order as the Energy Consents Unit (ECU) portal. Work down the page, copying each part into the matching field on the portal. You can still edit your objection text before copying.
Your objection must be submitted via the ECU portal — this page does not submit it for you.
When you're ready, open the ECU portal in a new window and keep this page open beside it to copy from.
Open the ECU portal ↗Copy each of these into the matching box on the portal's first page. Once you copy a field, it will fade and the button will turn green — so you can always see what's left to do. To paste, click into the matching box on the portal, then either press Ctrl+V (Windows) or Cmd+V (Mac), or right-click inside the box and choose Paste.
The portal has two optional tick-boxes: one to keep your name off the public website, and one to keep your address off it. Tick either (or both) if you do not want that information published. Your email address is never published, whether or not you tick anything.
On the portal's second page, select Objection, then tick the categories below — these match the topics in your objection.
This is your objection text. Copy it into the large "Grounds for Representation" box on the portal's final page. Do not add any personal details here (no names or addresses) — this text is published by the ECU.
The ECU portal limit is 32,700 characters.
Use Back to options to add or change sections and observations you may have missed. Regenerating will select fresh rewrite variations while keeping your selected sections, observations and comments.
This is over the ECU portal limit. Please shorten the text before submitting.
Haven't opened the ECU portal yet? Open it now in a new window to paste your details into.
Open the ECU portal ↗Before the portal accepts your representation, it will ask you to enter the text shown in a captcha image, then click Submit Representation.
Once you've submitted, let us know how it went so we can keep an accurate record and help you if anything went wrong.
After submitting on the portal, check your email for a message from the ECU. It contains two links — you need to click the second link to confirm your representation. Your submission is not complete until you do this.
Please let ObjectNow know whether you were able to submit your objection to the ECU, by selecting one of the buttons below.
We already have a submission which exactly matches the name, email, and address you've entered for this campaign.
