Statkraft UK Ltd has officially submitted a Section 36 application for the proposed Giant’s Burn Wind Farm (ECU00005007), a large-scale onshore energy development on and around Cowal’s Hill in the rural Cowal Peninsula, Argyll and Bute. The proposal includes nine industrial wind turbines up to 180 metres in height, a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), and extensive new access roads and infrastructure.
