ObjectNow was founded in 2024 following the success of our work with Hands Off Our Hills, a grassroots campaign group based in Newton Stewart, Dumfries and Galloway. We supported their objection to the Glenvernoch Wind Farm, and the impact was immediate and significant — so much so that other campaigners began reaching out, asking how they could access the same tools. In response to this growing demand, the original developer joined forces with like-minded collaborators to create Object.Now: a dedicated platform built to empower communities and individuals across the UK to stand up to large-scale energy developments.
